Ronix PE Pipes are manufactured in sizes from 20mm to 630mm outside diameter in all classes/ pressure ratings as per IS:4984-1995, IS:14151-1994, IS:14333-1996, DIN8074/8075, BS3284, ISO:4427/4437 & confirming to Spec IS:1239(Part-I) a substitute Of GI Pipe suitable for threaded joints. The pipes are available in coil form or straight lengths depending on sizes and customer requirements.
Polyethylene is a thermoplastic polymer consisting of long chains of ethylene or ethane. It is a wax like thermoplastic with density varying from 934.0kg/m³ to 960.0kg/m³ which is less than the density of water. The only two additives that are added to polyethylene are Carbon Black, within the range limit of 2-3% in order to add reinforcement and to increase polyethylene’s weathering properties and trace amounts of anti-oxidant.
HDPE has a relatively high molecular weight compared to MDPE and is superior in terms of abrasion resistance and impact strength. It is also strongly resistant to stress cracking and has low creep rupture properties. It has excellent insulation properties over a wide range of frequencies and is not chemically active. HDPE pipes are one of the two largest thermoplastic pipelines available and by far the most versatile.

PERMANENT JOINTS :
(I) Butt Fusion Welding : This is simplest and the quickest method of jointing PE pipes and can be used for all diameters. The two ends of pipe to be joined are cleaned and brought together and are lightly pressed against a heated tool. A hydraulic jack is used to ensure the proper alignment of two pipe ends. Heating temperature of 200ºC and pressure of 0.4 kg/cm² to 1.2 kg/cm² is applied to get good quality welded joint.
(II) Electrofusion Welding : This is a sophisticated technique of jointing PE pipes and usually employed for PE pipes for gas distribution. Use of equipment fitted with time controller for the heating operation and a transformer is made.
DETACHABLE JOINTS :
Detachable joints are used when the PE pipes requires frequent dismantling and shifting. Three types detachable joints are normally used.
a) Flanged Joints : PE pipes and slip on flange (of matching dimension) are butt-welded to form a stopper – end and contact face. The two flanged ends are then joined with standard nuts and bolts with a proper gasket to ensure a leak proof joint
b) Compression Couplers : These couplers can even be used for high pressure application for pipe diameter of up to 160 mm OD. Compression couplers are ideal for pipe systems requiring frequent dismantling and shifting e.g. irrigation of larger areas economically by using smaller pipe lengths
Compression fittings
Products Range : 20mm to 110mm PN 2.5kg Up To 10kg / Cm2
These Pipes are manufactured as two Concentric layer, outer layer being HDPE co-extruded with inner layer of solid permanent lubricant to reduce the internal co-efficient of friction for use as OFC cable conduit can be produced in any required length shall contain four equispaced ,continuous longitudinal stripes of 3mm width in white color and the same will be co-extruded during duct manufacturing . The duct shall be made in eight colours viz. Green, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Brown, Violet, Grey and Red. Dimension of ducts: The nominal size of ducts shall be 50/42mm, 40/33mm, 32/26mm.
Specification: The ducts are made as per Generic requirements no. GR/CDS-08/02 Nov 2004 of Department of Telecommunication

Double Wall Corrugated Pipe
DWC pipes are Double wall corrugated (DWC)pipes made with High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material. They are externally corrugated and have a glass smooth surface inside. DWC HDPE Pipe have very high strength because of its design, are economically viable, have a very long life expectancy, and enumerable environmental benefits that make them the most suitable pipes for underground sewerage and drainage applications. DWC pipes are much stronger than the solid wall pipes of the same wall thickness. Thecorrugated external wall structure and smooth internal surface allows uninterrupted , smooth flow characteristics without any blockages and also provides required stiffness and flexibility to sustain soil and traffic loads. It offers a wonderful combination of lowest inner friction, high flexibility, superior strength. The pipes are much lighter than any conventional or solid wall plastic (PVC, HDPE or PP) pipes of similar stiffness class.
DWC HDPE pipe is used all over the world as a standard in efficient waste water collection and transportation networks for the last 40 years. These DWC HDPE pipes help municipal bodies, urban conglomerates, agricultural drainage, and industries to manage their waste water and rain water very efficient. DWC once installed are maintenance free, which allows it to lie underground for years. Such a system will not only protect the environment but also your investment.
Sewerage Projects
Effluents disposal and Industrial drainage
City & Urban Clusters
Domestic & AC Vents, Garbage Chutes
Highway and storm drainage
Rainwater drainage
Shallow and drainage
These applications are very few and the PE DWC pipes are finding new usages almost regularly and adding further benefits to this technological at a very fast pace.
Features
Ronix DWC pipes manufactured according to IS:16098 are offered from 75 to 500mm sizes in SN 4 and SN 8 stiffness class. These pipes are made available in plain end form as well as with integral sockets along with necessary fittings. Assembly jig required for the installation is also available.

CABLE Ducting, pipes are made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which provides long-term strength, chemical resistance and prevention of stress cracks. Its unique double-walled construction makes it light-weight, gives excellent mechanical properties like high ring stiffness and better impact strength. The smooth inner wall facilitates easy insertion of ducts and cables.
The pipes are manufactured with hi-tech machines which results in excellent finished product. The pipes are manufactured as per BIS standard IS 16205 – Part 24.
